a serene & stylish guest bedroom
I’m so happy with how this guest room came together. It’s a warm, welcoming retreat for guests, layered with texture and soothing neutrals. The centerpiece is a beautifully crafted beige upholstered bed from Wayfair. It’s now available on sale, making it the perfect time to bring this elegant and timeless piece into your home. To give the space that relaxed, lived-in coastal feel, I added a blue cotton-blend rectangle pillow with a handcrafted aesthetic. Underfoot is a vintage-inspired ivory rug that’s incredibly soft and offers the perfect neutral base. A favorite detail is the rustic wood bench at the foot of the bed. It has a handmade, artisanal quality that adds character.

Still within the guest room, one corner has become a personal favorite of mine, thanks to its contrast and warmth. This dark wood nightstand adds depth and texture, grounding the light-toned room with its rich, natural wood grain. It’s both functional and full of character. Atop the nightstand sits a blue ceramic table lamp with elegant gold detailing, subtle yet glamorous. I styled it with two sculptural accents, one in solid gold and another in a playful gold-and-white combination, for a collected, curated look. To soften the corner, I placed a faux olive tree in a natural tote-style basket.

We first chose this bed for our master bedroom, and it quickly became a favorite, so much so that we brought the same beige upholstered bed into the guest room, too. It’s one of those timeless pieces that works beautifully in any space.
