When we moved into our home, the bathrooms were functional but lacked the charm, storage, and design details we craved. Over time, we’ve updated each one to better reflect our style—blending classic bathroom design with coastal-inspired touches and practical updates for everyday living. If you’re looking for timeless bathroom ideas, kids’ bathroom inspiration, or a small space bathroom makeover, here’s a full tour of how we transformed each space.

primary bathroom
Our primary bathroom is all about clean, classic design with a fresh coastal feel. We installed a deep navy vanity for a bold pop of color, paired with marble hexagon floor tile and traditional white subway tile in the shower. Behind the vanity, we added shiplap for extra texture, and painted the walls Benjamin Moore Simply White for a crisp, bright finish. One of our biggest changes was expanding the vanity to include a second sink, this made a huge difference in functionality. This space now feels polished, practical, and timeless.

The kids’ bathroom is full of subtle coastal charm. With no natural light, we kept the design light and bright using white subway tile in the shower and soft, neutral wallpaper that adds just enough pattern. The vanity, a white oak piece from Willow Bath and Vanity, brings in natural warmth and texture. We added vertical shiplap to the lower half of the walls and classic white penny tile on the floor. It’s a calm, coastal-inspired kids’ bathroom that’s simple yet special.
guest bathroom + laundry combo
This compact guest bathroom and laundry room combo packs a punch with bold patterned tile flooring in shades of blue, gray, and white. The tile adds personality and movement, so we kept the rest simple—painting the walls Sherwin Williams Pure White and adding a clean, white vanity to anchor the space. The end result? A charming, cottage-style bathroom that feels welcoming and well-designed, even in a small footprint.
