Building a home is such a mix of moments: splurging on that dream piece you’ve had saved forever, stumbling across a surprise Walmart find, or finally grabbing that Quince throw everyone raves about. Over time, those decisions have layered into a home that feels calm, coastal, and completely me. Out of everything I’ve brought in, there are a handful of pieces I couldn’t imagine living without. Here are the 10 items that get the most love in my home.
Living Room Favorites
Our gallery wall is filled with black-and-white family photos that make the space so personal. These frames are 25″ x 25″, and they are one of those details that truly make the house feel like home.
The rug in our living room is truly the best. We actually have 3 throughout our home. They hold up so well that even with the dogs and kids making themselves at home, they have still lasted for years.

Simple Touches That Make Our Kitchen Feel Like Home
The kitchen is the heart of our home, and I always gravitate toward light and airy finishes. This blue runner balances our large island. It’s easy to clean and brings in a pop of color.
I love keeping our kitchen table simple but fresh. This white vase is a year-round staple in our kitchen but switching out the stems each season keeps the look fresh and current.

A Cozy Corner in Our Home
The Tilly bed is a beautiful piece that modernizes our bedroom while maintaining the serene atmosphere that is so important us. We love the upholstered fabric and the Zuma white color is the perfect shade of off-white (not too yellow).
This little corner is one of my favorite spots in my home to curl up with a book. The boucle swivel chair, soft throw, and textured pillows make it extra cozy and inviting.

Creating a Serene Coastal Retreat at Home
Nightstands are one of my favorite spots to style, and I like to keep mine simple and layered. A woven vase, lamp, and candle make the space feel warm without being cluttered.
This dresser is an investment piece but well-made and worth every penny. This is one of the most asked about pieces in our home. The dresser gives me plenty of space for storage, but it’s also one of my favorite places to style.

An Inviting Space That Welcomes You
This bench would be great in an entryway. It is the perfect spot to drop a bag or take off shoes. Ours is filled with pillow covers for all the seasons to make the hallway feel a little more cozy.
These waffle bath mats are a favorite in our home because they’re quick drying and thin enough for the door to glide over. The backing prevents them from sliding around, and they come in so many colors that they can be customized to fit any aesthetic.

It’s the mix of simple details and meaningful touches that make our house feel like home. We love sharing these favorites with you and hope they spark ideas for your own home, too.
